( This is a picture of me in Vegas!!! And my mom she's just facing the other way... >.>) This isn't the best pictue of me...but, then again, I've seen worse...I left on the 20th and came back...Ya know, I forgot when I came back...It was an...interesting *coughweirdcough* trip...It was still fun though! ^_^ But,Im glad I'm bck. It was cold whn we left, but when we cme back, it was hot...and I was wearing a long sleeved shirt and snow boots...Bad idea...Well anywayz I'm back!

Everybody at this school is saying how they hate

drama so much and everybody needs to just get

along...But the same people go and start drama the

very next day after saying that. My point is

that when you say something.. Mean it. Its

one thing to say something but another thing

to do it. You can say how much you hate drama

and people who start it are just haters but if

you go the very next day and start problems

with people and do exactly what you said you hated,

What are you but a hypocrite?? What i am trying

to say is if you are going to be low enough to say

mean things behind somebodys back, be careful

whos you say it too. And also don't. This school

is small enough that everybody knows everybody's

personality very well and some people can see

right through all the things that you say. So be careful

what you say around you because eventually it's

all going come back at you and your going to end

up with more than a couple people mad at you.

But that's all I wanted to say. Maybe for once

someone will actually listen to me....

But it wasnt as better as last year.

The reason that i like to write so mutch is because one it is my favorite subject and two because i like to use my hands to do allot of these things that i am doing right know in my life time. When I was in my other school i use to be number one writer in first grade through sixt grade thet all wrote at least one page withch was one thing but for me a little 3rd grade girl it was very cool every time they gave in assignment they use to turn in only one then here I come in and i come with five or six pages. It's a wonderful life play

Well its a wonderful life is a very very very cool play. It lets people learn and know abaut what Shakespeare wrote about a long time ago, it allso lets people relax and watch the show! The other thing is for people to go have a good time but the real reson is for people to have fun. the actors are are fabtastic because of corse they are in this school,[hello] but the actors have been practicing very hard and really love to do this witch is why the choose to be in drama! And we allso have the best drama director can you guess who he is ? Its Mr.Parks he is our drama inglish and history teacher if he does something else I dont know but I just want you to know that Its a wonderful life is one of my favorite plays I have ever seen!

one day Mr.smith said we had to write a story on aperson in the play so i wrote about Deana i said she was a very very very good acter because she nows what shes doing shes a good acter i think she will be a very good acter when she grows up she i 8th grade shes 13 as you would guess i think shes a grate acter

The old globe theatre

The old globe theatre was fun because we got to see things that we usually didnt even get to see we got to go underneath the stage and we got to go to the green room which is a room where the actors get to hang out and eat snacks after a hard day and they get to take a break and they get to study and do there homework because when there in a play at the old globe they cant go to school cause they have to practice for the play so much.oh and we go to see where they make the costumes and all the props for the stage to make the play look as real as they do umm o and the room where they make the costumes was so cool because there was so much cloth and material it was so cool but it looks like alot of work to put on a play like the grinch or any other play it might not look like it but my trip to the old globe showed me how much work and participation it takes just to put on a play it was amazing i had so many questions but i got them all answered and i would really like to go back there because i learned so much and i was so fasinated i didnt think i would but i really was and all the actors work there butts off! they practice so much they do it for hours and hours everyday for months just so we can see the amazing plays that they have and thats why i decided to write about the old globe theatre! ☺thank u guys for letting us go!

the old globe was a really cool field trip..
i thought the globe was a very small place and it turned out to be a really big house..
i think it was cool cause it was like back stage secrets...
the costume room was kinda messy...and the lady on the room had a messed up attitude...

one day a captain of the squad said we should give to the kids and call it toys for tots.then they started to do toys for tots. it became succesful and they kept on doing it every year.

Well the bodies exhibit was very cool for many resons,one it was not boring like all the other field trips that I have been to in other schools and it was allso exiting. The first thing we did was to get on the bus and go to the exibit and when we got to the exhibit we got out of the bus and we lisened to insturctions and we got in [finally] and we saw a bunch of bodies the bodies were very cool the thing they do is that they use a medicine into their bodies and the body turns into plastic witch they use to put in the exhibit for other people to enjoy and have fun!

How it feels to be the new kid is kind of weird sometimes because people start making fun of your name and all that stuff. You even get shy and thats how I felt on my fist day here at Eagles Peak Charter School. I was sord of shy because it was new everything and it didn't feel right, but because my cousin goes here I felt good the next day. And the teachers are really awesome at this school. Me and my sister keep moving like almost every year and go to new scools every year too.

Its sord of real and everyone gets like that when there new at some school around the world and it's normal that everyone does that. It sometimes gets annoying for me and my sister a lot when we move. Did you know that we have moved since we were like babys and we hav moved 11 or 12 times since we were babys I think......?

Being the new student is cool because I get to make new friends. I always try not to be shy on my first day. To me I think that being a new student and not being shy would help you get to know lots of people just on the first day. My method is to talk alot to someone next to me and to the teachers. ♥ THE OLD GLOBE THEATER♥

About two weeks ago we took a trip by bus to the old globe theater, we went behind stage , " The grinch stold christmas".we got to go under stage and we got to find out all the secret doors and everything. we also got to see how the costumes were made and everything.an interesting fact is that the grinches ssuit was made out of real hair and they spray painted it green. We also got to see the other two stages one was outside, and the other was a circle in the middle and the chairs were all around!!it was really interesting.

on november 29th , we went on a filed trip to the old globe to see a behind the scenes sort of thing . we went on it to see like what goes on backstage like how the costumes are made, and also to see other stuff you know[ of course cuz most of you went to the field trip}.it waz fun when me,deanna, and giovanna were fighting and messing around at the park eating pizza and just being ourselves. so thats my story i dont have much to write anymore so bye

On November 29, most of the people from school [[except for a few.]] went to the Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park.

We got a very special backstage tour of the Old Globe.

It was cool I guess because we got to see how everything worked and we were able to

see all the things and ask a whole lot of questions.....

The worker tour guider people were kind of mean though......

They need to be nicer to their guests because after all we ARE

their guests.....

But it was pretty cool though..

I had fun with Giovanna and Ayleen..

Except that park we ate luch in sucked..

There wasn't even a playground!!!!!!

We might be teenagers but we are still kids........

So maybe next time we can go someplace with an actual playground..

Aerin takes place in the story The Hero and the Crown. This is the place where Aerin eventually becomes a young woman’s best loved hero, which her young life becomes difficult and solitary. This book also talks about prejudice, some people are suspicious (thinking) of Aerin her Northern blood. Aerin have had to learn a certain amount of history as part of her royal education. Aerin moved back to herself and suddenly learns from one of her ancestors that she is responsible for her families’ royalty. In my opinion I think that Aerin is going to accept herself and her own unique talents.

My report is based on the guy that came yesterday to teach us about the Middle Ages and he taught us all about the middle ages and stuff like that

This book aint a bore or hard its just that people dont like it or understand it.I like this book alot its not a frustating book if you like to read. I give it a 10!!!!

One of the reasons for me to be concentrating in the reading is because every time i read I'm thinking about other things instead of the book,i understand only if I'm reading out loud then i will get what the book is saying.its difficult to read in silent because it won't go through you're mind and you will not be able to summarize it. Other reasons is,the book I'm Reading is not of my choice and i don't like it and so i don't put too much effort in it.I think that i should chose the book of my choice so i could read it comfortably.

whats so frusterating about reading and writing? About reading is that there
is some words that are to hard to read. Some sentences are also hard to read
I just dont understand them. And writing is that sometimes i get confused
with some words and thats all.

i hate reading cuz its boring and its hard. i like writing more than i like reading becuz its easier.

Reading as an Eighth Grader

okay so the book we are readng now is pretty confusing. By the end of the fith chapter it was okay but I personaly don't think that the author is a good writer. I mean I could do a better job in writing and belive me I have. The author took 2 paragraphs just to tell that she was clumsy and a few pages to tell why she doesn't use a certain plate. He just needs to get on with his story so it can be more interesting. Plus he uses really bad grammer that makes no sense at all.

i ain't gonna say who dis iz but if u figure it out then coolerz.

reading and writing as 8th graders is diffuclt because most of the time we are expected to know sometin and if we dont we get in trouble or somtin and it makes us feel not smart. and though we are suposse to know most of the stuff that we are given sometimes we don't so if we dont get it we don't like to admit it cu z then we feel embaressed cuz we are SUPOSSE to know it. life would be much easer if things were explained to us even if we do know sometin just so that we get the full idea of what we are suposse to. And when we are given things we do not know and when we do not ask cuz then we get embaressed we have a tendacy to ignore the thing and just not do it cz we dont want ot get confused. so ya being a 8th grader isnt all that easy but we only make it as hard as we say it is. the first thing that you ask yourself when you are in a problem is wheather or not we want to sovle it.

* Writing and Reading *

I hate it when people won't stop bugging me to read! I mean sure if it was something interesting or coll to read then I would... but no its always something boring and hard! And its always something boring.... *snores* The hero and the crown sounded like a good book but it is really hard! I never know whos telling the story, I can't figure out if Aerin having a flashback or if it happening in preasent time in the story or what!! And the names Teka, Talat, Tor!! (and is Perlith a guys name)......Sol Sola Amyperlith whatever!! They all sound the same!!!!!!!!!!!!

Writing is ok with me... but when we're forced to write a story or something its hard! Sometimes I just can't think of something to write but we just "have to keep working" or we'll get in trouble! Some times I get so mad at books that are above our grade level and about questions on work sheets that I just want to scream! The first question that was on the 8th grade english work sheet was so in depth that my sister dident under stand it. And dont think my sis is dumb she is 25.

The book is very frustrating because they hardly define the past from the present. They describe things very well but sometimes too much; this distracts the reader from the more important stuff. The main theme of the story is interesting but you really have to dig deep to get the message. I know that it's supposed to be improving our reading skills, but if we misunderstand one little thing the whole story gets messed up in our head. I think it would be a lot easier if we could do it with other people so that if one person is confused the whole group can go over it and understand it a whole lot better.
